Organising first local VTuber Showcase in Malaysia
On 26th and 27th February 2022 I organised a Malaysian VTuber showcase at #JomCosplay event held at Jumpa @ Sungei Wang mall on behalf of Animangaki. The goal of the showcase is to spread awareness to ACG attendees to spread awareness of our local Malaysian VTubers and hopefully can attract new fans to enjoy out local VTuber scene and contents. For the first ever showcase, we featured 9 local freelance VTubers from all shapes and sizes! The showcase includes all the VTubers avatar in full hooman size, 2 large TVs that each played the VTubers stream compilations and song covers and tables full of the VTubers profile and SNS links. As a small fun activity, we encourage attendees to put stickers on the banner to show which VTubers that they are a fan of.
Fun fact: We announced the Malaysian VTuber showcase in a Minecraft server called #VGakuenMC which is the (minecraft) home of 40 Malaysian VTubers and counting…
