Collaborate with Gakken to produce limited-run Mooks available in English

Gakken is one of the biggest educational publishers in Japan, selling education-related books, magazine and so on to both kids and adults. One of their famous line-up is is scientific ‘MOOK's’ which are magazines that have products that you can self-assemble while learning about it. During 2012-2014 GAKKEN was doing a market research on translating their mooks into English and selling it in the South East Asia region. In the end we had a base in Singapore and starts a limited run of English mooks in Singapore for the market research. These mooks can be found in any local bookstores throughout Singapore during those years. My task was to find local teams to do the translation and also links to major-chain bookstores in order to put Gakken’s product.
